Ice it for now: I would say ice it and elevate it (lie on sofa and have leg higher than the level of your heart). But if it becomes very painful by tomorrow, get it checked out.

Stubbed toe: You can ice your toe. However, it is possible you may be developing a subungal hematoma (bleeding under the nail) and you may need to have a hole drilled in the nail to releave the pressure and pain.
