Infection: The swelling in your jaw and shoulder are most likely swollen lymph nodes from your body fighting an infection. The question is: what is the cause of this infection. Once you know that then you can get appropriate treatment. You need to see both your dentist and your medical doctor for an evaluation so that they can give you proper guidance.
