If a patient is allowed to take 20 mg of klonopin (clonazepam) for seizures ...and the norm is 2-3 mg.how would they function..and qvuit this amount if they had 2?

Sedated: 20 mg daily of Clonazepam (klonopin) is a very high daily dose. Most people would experience an impairing level of sedation on that dose. Reducing the dose would require medical supervision especially if the individual is using it to treat a seizure disorder.

Slowly both up ; dow: The dose would be raised slowly to allow adjustment to occur and tapering down would be extremely slow so as to avoid withdrawal delirium and recurrence of seizures.
