Prescribed klonopin (clonazepam) to help sleep. took it for 3 nights, 0.5 mg tablets. want to sleep without it now, safe to just stop taking it? risk of seizure?

Yes, after taking: 3 times you can stop it. In mean time use good sleep hygiene. 1. Keep regular bed & wakening time (includes weekends). Get up same time daily. 2. Make a regular, relaxing bedtime routine: warm bath or shower, aromatherapy, reading, or listening to gentle music. 3. Sleep in dark, quiet, cool room w comfortable mattress & pillows. 4. Klonopin (clonazepam): Klonopin (clonazepam) has a half life of about a hundred hours. Since you' ve only taken the drug for 3 days you should be O.K. Risk of seizures is minimal in your case.

Klonopin (clonazepam): Might try half tablet at bedtime for few nights then stop. Doubt there is risk of seizures in your case.
