Thyroid ca: Pap/foll thyroid ca is slow growing and less dangerous than other cancers. But it can still spread and needs treatment, under direction of an endocrinologist. Treatment will probably include a near-total thyroidectomy, rai, levothyroxine to suppress tsh, than a follow up thyroglob and whole body scan. "non-aggressive" does not mean "ignore". It's still cancer.

Good prognosis!: It is not unheard of to have follicular variant. This does not change your risk factors very much and actually the most important factor is your age. Under age 45 has the best overall prognosis.

Good prognosis: What you describe and your age and gender make your outlook encouraging. Follow up with you endocrinologist for periodic ultrasounds, thyroid function tests, and thyroglobulin checks. Good luck.
