Why do you want : Start smoking , if you are able stop due to surgery , don't start. Most of the people after surgery will resume normal activities in 4 wks , if you consider smoking as normal activity , doctors will not.

Do NOT re-start: Do not re-start smoking. Quit for good. Absolutely no good thing comes out of tobacco use.
