Misinformation: Whey protein does not help reduce fat itself. Any diet higher in protein and lower in fat will result in fat loss and with exercise muscle mass gain. Whey protein is a by product of cheese, so if you are lactose intolerant you can may have symptoms that include gas, bloating, cramps, tiredness, weakness, fatigue, headaches, and irritability.
