Talk to your : Surgeon. Best thing post op is to review plans with the surgeon. Especially with weight-bearing in orthopaedic surgeries. Sounds like you've done well since you've been on a walking boot, but be sure to talk with your surgeon first!

Any time now...: I usually have my patients in their own shoes (with orthotics for support) right about four weeks post-op. Ask your surgeon what his specific protocol is.
