Right handed?: Any repetitive motion with wrist flexed can increase pressure in the carpal tunnel. Stopping may be a good way to observe if you get (wrist) relief. If you can't, consider wearing a wrist splint.

Not likely: It may be the position of your hand during foreplay. Extremes of wrist flexion or extension may put pressure on the median nerve, inside the carpal tunnel. Thumb arthritis is also a common cause of hand pain. Either of these conditions could be your problem. Try to get into a comfortable position and if you start to feel discomfort, change positions.
