Not effectively: Trichomonas vaginalis is treated with flagyl/metronidazole or tinidazole. Amoxicillin is not effective.

No, it can't.: Trichomoniasis can be treated w one or multiple oral doses of Metronidazole or tinidazole. These are antibiotics which your doctor can order. Metronidazole is 90 to 95% effective and tinidazole is 86 to 100% effective.
