See your dentist: There is medication that your dentist can place in the area if it is not healing properly.

Exposed bone: What to do, if anything, would depend upon whether the exposed bone is at the base of the socket, or a bone spicule that has become dislodged, or a sharp piece of bone that is now not covered with gum tissue. See your dentist right away and he\she can determine how to best resolve the issue.

Not uncommon: After a wisdom tooth is removed exposed bone eventually gets covered with a blood clot. If concerned, see your oral surgeon for post-op appointment.
