Nausea: Having nausea could be secondary to many reasons. If you have persistent nausea, you need to see a physician to determine the cause and treat it properly. There are few medications available to use. Reglan (metoclopramide) or zofran are the common medications to control the symptoms.

Depends on cause.: Probably the simplest way to reduce nausea ; upset stomach is with ginger. You can drink slightly flattened ginger ale or nibble on crystallized ginger. Or pour boiling water over freshly sliced organic ginger ; steep x 5 min in a covered pot. Sip. If nausea is chronic or recurrent that would warrant medical eval.
