I pulled my lower abdominal muscle on the left side while serving. it hurts even when i try to lie down and get up. how do i treat it? is it serious?

Pulled muscle: Usually not serious but may cause a lot of pain until you heal the muscle strain and sprain. Stop tennis for a while to protect yourself and try to prevent repeated injury. See your doctor about physical therapy. Protect injury site and give yourself time to heal.
