A member asked:

They suspect i may have dysautomia. will a tilt table help diagnose it? is it stress related? cardiac related? i've been passing out since 2009 help

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not needed. May help: Dysautonomia is a disorder that results in fluctuating blood pressures (BP) on change of position (lying to standing) and is one of the many causes of syncope (passing out). This can be identified easily by checking your BP lying/sitting/standing. A tilt table will help identify changes in your blood pressure and heart rate when tilted and may reproduce your syncope.
