I have chronic productive cough & mild fever for more than 6 months more at night. no hemoptysis or chest pain cxr http://bit.ly/1absnn1 is it cancer?

Chest x-ray: The arrow on your chest x-ray is pointing to (the rounded density to the right of your trachea) calcification in the arch of your aorta, a normal finding at your age, and definitely not an indication of cancer.

Agree with Dr. Werner about the chest x-ray. A productive cough and low grade fever over more than 6 months require additional evaluation. Lung cancer does not seem likely, however, a lung specialist (pulmonologist) might help determine what is wrong.
