NO!: You do not have to live with this pain. You have swelling in the area, and you owe it to yourself to find out why and what you can do about it. If your primary care doc is stumped, i suggest a rheumatologist to see if you have some type of inflammatory condition leading to your symptoms. Physical therapy modalities may also be useful in alleviating the pain and swelling/edema.
