Doc referred me to get both an mri and a ct scan. will they do both on the same day?

Probably: It is up to you and the scheduling availability at the facility where you will be imaged. If you want to have both tests done on the same day, it is usually possible. Depending on what type of MRI and ct you are getting, there may be issues with contrast (e.g., if there are any questions re: allergies or kidney function). In most cases, it is possible to do both tests in one day.
