heat intolerance: It may be a good idea to check your thyroid; hyperthyroidism can do this, but usually in the context of tremors, irritability, palpitations, etc. As you fall asleep, your core body temp falls, and heat gets pushed out to the skin, giving a hot sensation, but this is usually temporary.
