chest pain and abd p: Can be from many things. You did not specify the side. Recurrent pain is not normal - if severe you should go to the er. Sometimes this can be from your heart or esophagus. If it is lower down any of your organs in the abdomen can also be next to the diaphragm and cause pain on both sides. You need further evaluation.

I guess I should clarify my question. If you had a CT w contrast of abdominal and pelvic cavity done, would it also include lungs? I saw on report the lung bases were clear. I just thought that would be chest CT only. So Abd/Pelvic show lungs?
