How can i reduce my blood pressure! my blood pressure read 140/89 is this too high?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

HBP treatment: As a 43 year old male with hypertension, you should start your goal of BP reduction by losing weight, if you are obese, stopping cigarette smoking, if you smoke, exercising more and reducing the sodium content of your diet. If none need be done by you, see a physician for an examination and start BP medicines to lower your bp. The sooner you start you will avoid any hypertensive problems.
