A neuropsychological: evaluation will tell you if you have a word retrieval problem or whether your brain is going faster than your motor aspect of language can keep up with. I'd want an MRI of your brain; this started 'way after any ADHD, language-based learning disabilities, etc would've presented. Meth or Cocaine can cause "mini-strokes" ; so can a vascular malformation or ? something related to the eating disorder.
