What are some challenges obstetrician gynecologists face?

Challenges for OBGYN: Obgyn is a complex and interesting field. The biggest challenge is the unpredictable nature of our work. Babies come all hours of the day and night, or somebody rolls into the emergency department with a gyn surgery emergency that you've never met before and you have to leave your scheduled patients to go operate. That unpredictable nature of the job also keeps it exciting after all these years.
