exfoliative cheiliti: Unless a predisposing or associated condition can be identified and treated, exfoliative cheilitis is typically resistant to treatment. Unsuccessful use of keratolytic lip balms, sunscreen, antifungal creams, topical ; systemic steroids, antibiotics, and cryotherapy have been described. There has been one report each of the successful use of topical tacrolimus and calendula officinalis ointment 10%.
