Nerve pain: You are pinching the nerve that goes to your leg.As long as there is no weakness ( one sign is knee buckling) or persistant numbness, just change your technique ( crunches, suspended knee/leg raises). Due to your age, you may have a herniated disc in the spine or a compression fracture ( sign of osteoporosis)of the spine. These would require an evaluation and appropriate imaging, and treatment.
