No: Drinking alcohol responsibly makes no one an alcoholic. Overuse of any alcohol including wine damages you physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually. This is the definition of an alcoholic.

It depends: Alcoholism is an addiction. If you drink wine, beer, or liquor in moderation and not because you have the urge that you must, that doesn't necessarily make you an alcoholic. If you drink regularly because you feel you need to, can't control your drinking, get withdrawal if you don't drink, get upset if people question you about it, or it affects your professional or personal life, then beware.
