Metal Allergy: Or if you are not responsible enough to take proper care of the peircing afterward. Those would be medical reasons not to do it. Or if you for some reason had an active infection in or around your navel, then you would not want to do it. Or if you had a large umbilcal hernia you would not want to do it.
