Other symptoms?: If she is not expoeriencing any other symptoms and otherwise seems okay, an er visit may not be necessary, but calling her doctor for an exam makes sense. If other symptoms are there, you might try an urgent care clinic or even the er. They are good to avoid unless needed for many reasons.
