Im having a operative laparoscopy done for pelvic pain, if tubes are blocked will the dr unblock them?

Yes, if she can: Doctors do have the ability to push dye through the tubes which can diagnose tubal blockage and occasionally can help to clean out the tube. Most scarred tubes need to be operated on to fix a blockage. If your doctor is a rei or infertility doctor, then he/she may be able to operate on a blocked tube. You should be clear about your doctor's abilities/intentions prior to the laparoscopy.

Not usually: There are other less invasive tests which are traditionally performed prior to laparoscopy to relieve obstructions such as hsg. If this fails to relieve the obstruction, then lsc may be used to visualize or repair other external causes of the blockage or obstruction.
