Emergent Bochdalek?: Always go to the er if you have new, worrying symptoms and are concerned. Unlikely that the bochdalek hernia is causing choking. The pain and fullness is a possibility, although it could also be something else like gallbladder disease.

Unrelated: The bochdalek hernia is not related to the other symptoms, and has likely been there since birth. These are fairly commonly found on ct scans, and are almost always a symptomatic. They can cause symptoms when bowel is protruding in tot he chest, and even then sometimes remain without symptoms.
