Hiatal hernia: Yes the hernia can give tightness, fullness and discomfort especially after eating. Try small frequent meals and sitting up after eating.

Yes , but: Bochdalek hernia is an emergency seen in new born, very rare at 43 yr person. Speak to your surgeon if you have posterio-lateral defect need surgery to prevent dangerous complications
