A member asked:

I want to take birth control. what do you think is the least affective kind of birth control? or what is the best kind of birth control?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: The least effective is the one that annoys you that you don't do/take. For some women, taking a pill is super hard, for others, it's easy, or they set an alarm. The most effective in terms of preventing pregnancies are the iud and the implanon. Condoms and withdrawal are the least effective at preventing pregnancy. But honestly, the best birth control is the one that you like and that you use!
