About one year: If you're asking how long your prescription is viable at the pharmacy, that would vary shop to shop but would surely be invalid after one year. If you're asking how long the oxycodone would stay effective in your medicine cabinet, the answer is, again, about one year. I suggest my patients dispose of these types of meds after 12 months. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Ask your Pharmacist: Oxycodone is a powerful opioid narcotic pain killer and should be taken exactly as directed for pain. The prescription will say how many pills, and how often the prescriber recommends you take them. If pain is less, you may have pills left over. If pain is greater, you should discuss with your doctor.
