Good question: In dsm-iv it was personality disorder unless part of maj depression or dysthymia. Millon divides it into 4 types. Vacillating, discontented, circuitous ; abrasive when part of other troubled personalities. It is a style, not a disease. Long-term health risks would seem to be difficulty utilizing medical care well in addition to poor relationships with most other people.
