Not likely: But possible. Usually dry eye iritis and steroid related cataracts. But rarely Plaquenil (hydroxychloroquine) retinal toxicity after 7-8 yrs of high doses. Eyemds monitor for this quite carefully every 6 months or so reducing the chance of blindness.
