A member asked:

What to do when one shoulder is swollen higher than the other due to ra? could there be anything else wrong?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Swollen shoulder: Visible shoulder swelling often means fluid in the joint or bursa. This may mean inadequate control of RA that can damage your joints. I recommend seeing your rheumatologist. You may benefit from aspiration or a medication adjustment to help you feel better & better protect your joints.
