See a gynecologist: Vaginal dryness if this is your issue is not due to the Mirena (levonorgestrel) iud. Please see your gynecologist for evaluation/care as this may be pre-/menopausal issue in your case. This condition can be remedied with use of lubricants (k-y jelly)before intercourse. If this is not helpful then your doctor may recommend a topic hormone(eg estrace).Hope this helps. Take care/always practice safe sex. Use condoms.
