Bacterial infection: No because you have no fever is not a sign that your infection is under control especially with a low white count.

See below: Neutropenic patients with infection frequently have fever which indicates the need for immediate treatment. Successful antibiotic treatment will often cause the fever to resolve. Sometimes the fever does not resolve until bone marrow recovery has occurred.
