healing dry socket: A dry socket happens when the clot in the extraction site breaks down leaving exposed bone. The dry socket paste which is only used for that purpose causes the bone to start healing. If there is no more pain as there was before the dry socket paste was applied, it is healing. Any dead bone in the area will resorb, or flake off, or disappear. Sounds like you are thru the woods.

Wait: If pain comes back, the dry socket should be reviewed. The "bone' should start to be covered bu gum tissue. Shouldn't be a problem.
