I have gerd/gastitis(both) confirmed with scope my gerd is worse on an empty stomach i am on omprazole is this normal?how can i help i am normal weigh

Graze: I suggest you avoid big meals - try "grazing", multiple small meals instead of "3 squares a day." don't smoke, and minimize alcohol intake. Omeprazole is a good med, and should help. On occasion you could also use oral liquid or tablet antacids. Keep in touch with your doctor. Good luck.
