Depends: It truly depends on how hard you coughed and if it was simply a cough or if you have been having a cold. Most of the time that is normal but if you just simply coughed lightly then it is not really normal.

No, but: If you cough hard enough, you could get some intercostal muscle pain. If you hurt taking a deep breath too, pleurisy is a consideration. If you have fever with those symptoms, pneumonia is a concern.
