Safest to do yes: There are many causes of chest pain, including reflux, pleurisy, pneumonia, muscular, etc, but since people can indeed get Covid a second time (unfortunately!) & there are so many positive people around the world, it is best to retest, & if negative call Dr to check for other causes.

Cardiac follow up: A cardiac evaluation is recommended and a follow up appointment with your PCP. The recovery period and post COVID 19 may be associated with a number of complications, including bronchospasm and prolonged cough, secondary pneumonia or cardiac disease. Your prolonged cough may be related to a complication of your COVID 19 infection in June, rather than a new COVID 19 infection.
