No: If you have a cold, you have a cold. Wearing contact lenses won't make a difference.

No: As long as your eyes are not affected by the likely viral upper respiratory tract infection (no redness to eyes, no discharge, no pain), then wearing contacts should be ok. If symptoms change however, switch to glasses.

Always wash hands: If you have a cold, always wash your hands as much as possible, especially if you're wearing contact lenses. If you practice good hygiene, then you won't have a problem, even with your throat infection.
