PCOS: Pcos may cause you not to ovulate regularly. The cyst you describe is normal. Pcos may also cause changes in hormone levels, lining of the uterus to get very thick, some male type hormones that cause abnormal hair growth or other abnormal patterns with your period. You may also have hair loss (the symptom you are worried about). I would see a doctor to help you to manage the symptoms.
