Does prolotherapy help lumbar bulge disc/sciatica?

No. This technique : Has no indication for these diagnoses. This treatment was first developed in the early 20th century for treating "unstable" ligaments theorized to be a cause of back pain.

Possibly: Prolotherapy is well researched and offered treatment that has shown good success. The basic theory is to strengthen the ligaments around the facet joint and therefore reducing stress on the joint by tightening them up. Pretty cool stuff. There are some other treatments like stem cell injections that can help as well. Neither of these treatments are covered by medical insurance though.
