Check up: Consider a medical evaluation for other causes of weakness besides diet. It sounds like your diet and intestines are working well. Perhaps you have an abnormality of your thyroid or an issue with your heart. There are also psychological changes to be considered, but first have a medical evaluation.

Protein: Humans need protein, in a full amino-acid profile. Eggs, beans, tofu are ok, but best sources are beef, chicken, pork, and turkey. Ensure you are eating enough protein and if that doesn't help, see your primary care physician.
