Possibly: I think that considering hormone issues is important for both men and women. In the context of andropause one would predict the emergence of mood and anxiety symptoms. Also it may help to get your thyroid hormone checked. Although a purely biological etiology to mental illness is possible it often emerges in a context of stress and strained coping skills.
