I am completely unable to sleep a large majority of the time for around two days at a time usually getting just enough sleep to get by when i can help?

Some ideas...: 1. Choose a set bedtime ; awake time. 2. Avoid daytime naps. 3. Avoid rich or sugary foods, alcohol ; caffeine 4-6 hrs prior to bedtime. 4. Daily exercise, but not right before bed. 5. Reserve bed for sleep. Not reading, tv, electronic devices. 6. Find ways to relax prior to going to bed. Meditation, yoga, reading. Do not take worries to bed. Try these tips to start. Talk to doctor if needed.
