How do you care for a ganglion cyst that was already aspirated on your wrist?

Dr. David Tuckman answered

Specializes in Hand Surgery

Surgery: If a ganglion cyst returns after an aspiration and does not cause any symptoms you have the option of leaving it alone. If it does continue to cause symptoms you can consider surgical removal which is a outpatient procedure with a relatively quick recovery.

Same: Same as you would a respected ganglion. Gradual return to normal function with appropriate protection.
