Benign nodule: Your symptoms are most likely not related to a thyroid nodule, esp if benign. Hypothyroidism can cause the symptoms you describe but could be evaluated with a simple blood test. If the endo does not find a cause, see a good internist. You may want a concurrent visit since you are in such discomfort. Hypothyroidism is easy to treat by a good internist as well.

Depends on TSH: Your symptoms likely depend on your TSH results. I would recommend that you keep your appointment with the endocrinologist, or meet with your family practice physician to talk about other options to help control systems.

Yes: Sounds hyperthyroid, and it is common practice to start an uptake suppressor and a beta blocker (both at low doses) to reduce such symptoms and risk of thyroid storm. Contact your dr.
