Psychotherapy: I'm sorry to hear of your loss, yet wonder why you feel the psychologist hates you? All relationships contain some "transference" -- our unconscious needs, fears, and expectations of others based in our earliest relationships. Psychologists are trained to help you understand and deal with these reactions, and working through them is part of psychotherapy. This work can help you emerge stronger.

Transference issues: Transference presents a great opportunity to learn about oneself. I believe dr merton gill had it correct when he described the transference as arising from the interaction between the patient and the therapist, and not just arising from unresolved issues within the patient. Openly discuss this with your therapist. Buy dr gill. Books on the analysis of the tr v 1+2 @ amazon.Com, esp. Volume 2.
